Websites in Milpitas

If your customers do not all read English the same way, the site should know that.

Milpitas businesses often serve customers who speak more than one language at home, and who are choosing between you and a competitor whose site speaks to them directly. That is not a diversity note, it is a conversion question, and it is one most web shops never raise.

What a multilingual customer base changes

What actually decides it here

01

An English-only site excludes people who would have paid you. If a real share of your customers would rather read another language, a second version of your main pages is a straightforward build with a direct return.

02

Machine translation reads as careless. A page run through an automatic translator is often worse than no translation, because it signals that nobody bothered. Human-checked copy, even for a few pages, does not have that problem.

03

Search happens in the customer's own language too. People search in the language they think in. Pages that exist only in English cannot be found by those searches at all.

04

Being near the Great Mall does not mean being found. Foot traffic and search visibility are separate problems, and the second one is the one a website can fix.

What you get

The site, then the tools underneath it

Module 01

The site

A site that speaks to the customers you actually have.

  • A second language version of your main pages, if that fits your customers
  • Human-checked copy rather than an automatic translation widget
  • What you do and what it costs, plainly, in both versions
  • Fast on a phone, on any connection
  • One obvious way to contact you, whichever version they landed on

Module 02

The automation

The same automation on every build, because it works the same way everywhere.

  • A chatbot that answers after-hours questions and books a call
  • Missed-call text-back, so a call you could not take still gets a reply
  • Review requests sent after the job, to everyone, never filtered
  • Appointment reminders where your business runs on appointments
  • Hosting and content updates included in the retainer

Who I build for in Milpitas

The work is the same shape whatever the trade, and the copy is not. These pages go into what changes for each: medical practices, dental practices, law firms, chiropractors, med spas, veterinary clinics, salons and barbershops, professional offices, and local service businesses.

Questions from Milpitas owners

Do you translate the site yourself?

No, and I would not pretend to. I build the structure so a second language is a real set of pages rather than a widget, and the copy is written or checked by someone who actually speaks it. Whether that is someone on your team or someone you hire is your call.

Is a second language worth the cost?

It depends entirely on your customers, and you know them better than any general rule does. If most of your business already happens in English, it probably is not, and I will say so.

What if we only want one language?

That is the default. This page raises it because most web shops never do, not because every business here needs it.

The guarantee

You don't pay the balance until you approve the site.

Hiring one person to build your website carries an obvious risk: you pay, and what shows up is not what you had in mind. So the money is structured so that cannot happen. A deposit starts the work. The balance is due only after you have seen the finished site and told me it's right. If you look at it and it is not what we agreed, I fix it, and you still have not paid the balance.

No annual contract on the build. The retainer, if you take it, is month to month, and cancelling it does not cost you the website. The site is yours once it is paid for, either way.
