Work

Two sites. Both open to anyone who wants to look.

Craftvane is new, so there is no long client list to show you and I am not going to pretend otherwise. What I can do is hand you the actual work. Both sites below are live on the open web. Click through, load them on your phone, check how fast they open, read the copy. That is a harder test than a screenshot of a testimonial.

Live · Remodeling contractor

Silicon Valley Building

A family-owned San Jose remodeling contractor. The site carries the whole business: every service, every city they work in, a blog, a project gallery, and a tool that gives a homeowner a ballpark remodel cost in about thirty seconds without a phone call. That last piece exists because the owner was losing evenings to price questions from people who were never going to book.

RoleBuilt and maintained in house. I run marketing and operations for the company.
Scale104 URLs in the sitemap
StackStatic build, hosted on Netlify
NotableInstant ballpark estimate tool, city pages, project gallery
StatusLive and in daily use

Full disclosure: this is not a client engagement. Silicon Valley Building is where I work. I am telling you that up front because you will figure it out anyway, and a portfolio that quietly passes off in-house work as client work is not worth much. What it does prove is scope: the whole site, start to finish, still standing and still being used.

Rebuild proposal · Water damage restoration

Supraclean

A San Jose water damage and mold company running on an aging WordPress site. This is a complete replacement, built out rather than mocked up: every service they offer, the towns they cover, a Spanish-language emergency path, separate pages for the insurance adjusters and property managers who send them work, and a redirect map so every URL the old site had earned still lands somewhere instead of 404ing.

RoleEverything: research, structure, copy, build
Scale39 pages
StackStatic build, hosted on Netlify
NotableSix city pages, Spanish emergency path, old-URL redirect map
StatusFinished, on a preview URL, owner's decision pending

Full disclosure: this one has not launched. It is a finished proposal sitting on a preview address, and nothing on it touches the owner's real domain, DNS, or Google listing until he decides he wants it. I am showing it because a proposal you can click through beats a promise about what I would build, and because it is the closest thing to a demo of what you would get.

What the rebuild actually changed, in numbers

Both sites were run through Google's PageSpeed Insights on a simulated mobile connection, three times each, on August 22, 2026. Three runs because Lighthouse scores move around between runs, and a single number quoted as fact is how people get misled. Here is the spread.

The live site today

supracleanwaterdamage.com

  • Mobile performance score: 56, the same on all three runs
  • Largest Contentful Paint: 13.8 to 14.0 seconds
  • First Contentful Paint: 5.8 seconds
  • Total Blocking Time: 160 to 180 ms

The rebuild

supraclean-preview.netlify.app

  • Mobile performance score: 98 to 100
  • Largest Contentful Paint: 1.5 to 1.6 seconds
  • First Contentful Paint: 0.8 to 0.9 seconds
  • Total Blocking Time: 0 ms

Largest Contentful Paint is the moment the main thing on the page finally shows up. On the live site that takes about fourteen seconds on a phone. Supraclean's customer is standing in a flooded house holding a phone, and fourteen seconds is not a slow website, it is the reason someone taps back and calls the next company on the list. The rebuild does it in about a second and a half.

One thing to read correctly: the preview is deliberately blocked from search engines while it sits on a temporary address, so it cannot compete with or duplicate Supraclean's real Google listing. That is a setting, not a defect, and it comes off the day the owner says go.

Two entries is a short list, and it will get longer. What is on it is real and checkable, which matters more to me than filling a grid. If you want to talk to the people behind either project before you hire me, ask and I will put you in touch. You can also read a complete audit report, run on my own previous site, to see what the free audit hands you.

The guarantee

You don't pay the balance until you approve the site.

Hiring one person to build your website carries an obvious risk: you pay, and what shows up is not what you had in mind. So the money is structured so that cannot happen. A deposit starts the work. The balance is due only after you have seen the finished site and told me it's right. If you look at it and it is not what we agreed, I fix it, and you still have not paid the balance.

No annual contract on the build. The retainer, if you take it, is month to month, and cancelling it does not cost you the website. The site is yours once it is paid for, either way.
